Abstract
Flexible thermoelectric generators (F TEGs) represent a solution for autonomous energy harvesting of wearables. This paper presents two modalities of optimizing the values of ele ctric energy harvested by F TEGs. The qualitative optimization follows the adaptation of the surface cross section of the thermocouple elements, in relation to the electric and thermic conductivity of the constituting metals. The quantitative optimization follows the increase of the elements dimensions, as well as their increased density. The voltage values harvested are of
20 mV at a temperature difference of 60 o C.
