Abstract
In this paper, the process of capturing carbon dioxide from the flue gas by means of a chemical solvent is described. An aqueous monoethanolamine solution, with a concentration of 30 wt%, was selected to chemically absorb the CO2. The experimental results have shown that a CO2 removal efficiency of about 66% can be achieved
