Rezumat
Lucrarea prezintă rezultatele unui studiu care evidențiază influența roților asupra caracteristicilor aerodinamice ale automobilelor. Astfel, au fost efectuate o serie de analize pe un model generic de automobil tip Ahmed Body, pe roți, modelat într-un program 3D CAD. Curgerea aerului în jurul corpului a fost simulată utilizând facilitățile ANSYS CFX, soft dedicat analizelor CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).

Abstract
The paper presents the results of a study that highlights the influence of wheels on the aerodynamic characteristics of cars. Thus, a series of analyzes were performed on a generic model of car, Ahmed Body, on wheels, modeled in a 3D CAD program. The flow of air around the body was simulated using the facilities of ANSYS CFX, software dedicated to CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis.
