STRUCTURI TEXTILE NECONVENTIONALE

Rezumat: Definim drept structuri textile neconventionale acele structuri textile (fibre, fire, tesaturi, tricoturi), care au in componenta materialele care se comporta din punct de vedere fizic neconventional (respectiv valorile unor parametri fizici nu respecta conditiile intalnite in fizica conventionala). Amintim in acest sens metamaterialele (materiale artificiale care prezinta indice de refractie negativ, materialele auxetice care de asemenea sunt caracterizate de un coeficient Poisson negativ). Articolul familiarizeaza cititorul cu aceste notiuni si legatura lor cu modalitatile de abordare teoretica vis a vis de structurile textile.

Abstract: We define as nonconventional textile structures those textile structures (fibres, yarns, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics) which contain materials with a nonconventional behaviour from the physical point of view (the values of certain physical parameters do not observe the conditions met in the conventional physics). We mention in this sense metamaterials (artificial materials which present a negative refraction index, auxetic materials, which are also characterized by a negative Poisson coefficient). The article familiarizes the reader with these notions and their connection with the theoretical approach modalities regarding the textile structures.
