INDUSTRIA DE TEXTILE-CONFECTII – DIRECTIE STRATEGICA DE DEZVOLTARE A UNEI SOCIETATI DURABILE

Rezumat: Industria de textile si confectii are o traditie indelungata si reprezinta unul din sectoarele industriale de baza ale economiei europene. Pentru a se afirma ca lider pe pietele globale, industria europeana de textile si imbracaminte s-a bazat pe cercetare si inovatie. Acesti doi factori vor avea o importanta din ce in ce mai mare in asigurarea unei competitivitati industriale permanente. Politica industriala a Romaniei a luat in considerare prevederile conceptului de dezvoltare durabila, adoptat si aplicat, in ultimii ani, de majoritatea statelor lumii ca baza a dezvoltarii lor economice in perspectiva urmatorilor ani. In acest context, materialul evidentiaza aspecte privind principalele directii de dezvoltare ale sectorului de textile-confectii, avand in vedere cresterea competitivitatii si, in general, a performantelor industriei romanesti, in vederea intaririi capacitatii de adaptare a economiei tarii la cerintele pietei internationle, in conditiile globalizarii economiei mondiale.

Abstract: The textiles and clothing industry has a long tradition and represents one of the basic sectors of the European economy. To be top positioned on global markets, the European textile and clothing industry has always relied on research and innovation. These two factors will increasingly register a higher and higher importance in assuring a permanent industrial competitiveness. Romania’s industrial policy considered, in this sense, the provisions of the sustainable development concept, adopted and applied in recent years by most worldwide countries as their economical development basis overviewing onto the years to come. In this context, the paper highlights aspects related to the main development directions or guidelines of the textiles & clothing sector, provided the competitiveness increase and the Romanian industry performances, in their general spectrum, the purpose being to strengthen the country’s economy capacity
