Rezumat: Funcţia de control, verificare şi certificare a calităţii piesei sau a procesului de fabricaţie este specifică sistemelor de fabricaţie. Derivat din activităţile uzuale ale sistemului organizaţiei şi în primul rând din monitorizarea rezultatelor acţiunilor ei, controlul a evoluat în timp devenind o funcţie complexă şi de bază a managementului modern. Lucrarea prezintă aspecte ale controlului modern al producției desfășurat într-o întreprindere automotive evidențiind modul în care buna desfășurare a lui contribuie la asigurarea calității produselor, siguranța și satisfacția clienților.

Abstract: The function of checking, verification and certifying the quality of the part or the manufacturing process is specific to the manufacturing systems. Dedicated from the usual activities of the organization's system and primarily from monitoring the results of its operations, control has evolved over time, becoming a complex and basic function of modern management. The paper presents aspects of modern production control in an automotive enterprise highlighting how its good performance contributes to product quality assurance, safety and customer satisfaction.
