SISTEMUL DE OBSERVAȚII HIDROMETEOROLOGICE ȘI DE PROGNOZĂ METEOROLOGICĂ MARINĂ AL FORȚELOR NAVALE ROMÂNE

Rezumat: Sistemul de observații hidrometeorologice și de prognoză meteorologică marină al Forțelor Navale Române îndeplinește în prezent standardele și cerințele Organizației Mondiale de Meteorologie, NATO sau ICAO. Acesta a cunoscut o evoluție continuă de la crearea primelor stații meteorologice, în 1857, pe coasta românească, la vărsarea Dunării și până la crearea și modernizarea serviciului propriu de hidrometeorologie, parte a Direcției Hidrografice Maritime. Pentru asigurarea supravegherii meteorologice eficient și independent pentru zona de responsabilitate și de interes a Forţelor Navale, sistemul este conectat la sistemul meteorologic integrat național, dar folosește și produsele și datele provenind de la propriile stații automate costiere și navale.

Abstract: The Romanian Navy’s maritime surveillance and forecasting system currently meets the standards and requirements of the World Meteorological Organization, NATO or ICAO. The system has constantly evolved, since the creation of the first meteorological stations, in 1857, on the Romanian coast, at the Danube mouths, to the modernisation of its own Hydrometeorological Service, part of the Navy’s Maritime Hydrographic Directorate. To ensure effective and independent meteorological surveillance for the Romanian Navy’s area of responsibility and area of interest, the system is connected to the national integrated meteorological system but also uses products and data from its own coastal and naval automated weather stations.
