EDUCATIA CETATENEASCA SI PADURILE ROMANIEI

Rezumat: Educatia civica pune accentul pe importanta padurilor Romaniei, avand in vedere ca intr-un secol si jumatate s-a micsorat suprafata lor, iar compozitia s-a deteriorat. Romania este singura tara din Europa in care padurea a pierdut teren. In ultimele decenii s-a accelerat deteriorarea, din cauza legislatiei necorespunzatoare, care in plus a fost si prost implementata. Romanii nu-si dau seama ca, prin eliminarea padurii, care protejeaza solul si apa, elementele de baza ale vietii pe Pamant, propria lor existenta este amenintata; ei iau parte sau nu reactioneaza la declinul si degradarea padurilor din tara. Niciun efort de sensibilizare a publicului nu a fost facut pentru a se salva padurile ramase din trecut. Educatia civica nu a fost o prioritate pentru guvern si degradarea civica si morala este larg raspandita in toate straturile societatii. In situatia dificila actuala a tarii, datorita lipsei de pregatire din perioada premergatoare aderarii la Uniunea Europeana, fondurile nerambursabile FEADR pentru perioada 2007-2013, alocate pentru cresterea nivelului de trai in zonele rurale (inclusiv regenerarea fondului forestier pierdut), vor fi in mare parte pierdute. Un program de educatie civica, incepand cu cei mai tineri, este o prioritate urgenta pentru imbunatatirea conditiei umane in societatea romaneasca.

Abstract: The civic education has increased importance for the Romanian forest, as it surface shrinks and its composition deteriorates for more than a century and a half. Romania is the only country in Europe where the forest has lost ground. In recent decades the deterioration has accelerated, due to inadequate legislation which moreover has been poorly implemented. The Romanian does not realize that by eliminating the forest,which protects the soil and water, the basic elements of life on earth, its own existence is threatened; he takes part or does not react at decline and forest degradation in the country. No effort was made to raise public awareness to save the remaining forests of the past. The civic education was not a priority for the government and the civic and moral degradation is widespread in all strata of society. In the current difficult situation of the country, lack of preparation in the period before accession to the EU, the EAFRD non-refundable funds allocated for increasing living standards in rural areas in 2007-2013 (including regeneration of the forest fund lost) will be largely lost. A civic education program, starting with the youngest, is an urgent priority for the increase of the human condition in Romanian society
