ASPECTE PRIVIND OPTIMIZAREA SEMAFORIZARII IN INTERSECTIILE IZOLATE

Rezumat: Lucrarea analizeaza patru metode de alocare a duratelor de verde diferitelor combinatii de miscari ale traficului de autovehicule pentru optimizarea semaforizarii intr-o intersectie izolata. Doua dintre acestea sunt formulate in mod explicit printr-o functie de optimizare - intarzierea minima la nivelul intersectiei si suma minima a gradelor de saturatie corespunzatoare directiilor ce acced in intersectie (ambele asociate cu un optim social), iar celelalte doua impun anumite conditii - intarziere egala intre utilizatorii (echitate) si grade de saturatie egale ale miscarilor critice corespunzatoare fazelor de semaforizare. Prin utilizarea unor metode uzuale bazate pe raportul debit/capacitate de servire al miscarilor critice, precum si pe cele care iau in considerare intarzierile miscarilor individuale prin intersectie se studiaza dependenta functiilor obiectiv de marimea duratelor de verde si a modului in care se obtine valoarea optima a acestor functii.

Abstract: This paper analyzes traffic signal timing optimization in an isolated intersection through four methods of green times allocation for various combinations of vehicles traffic movements. Two of these methods are specifically stated to an optimization function – minimum delay across intersections and minimum sum of saturation degrees corresponding to the arms that accede to the intersection (both associated with a social optimal), and the other two impose certain conditions – equal delay between users (equity) and equal saturation degrees of the critical movements corresponding to traffic signals. Through the use of common methods based on flow to capacity ratio of critical movements, and those that take into account individual movements delays through intersection, we study objective functions dependence on the green times signals and also the way in which is achieved the optimal value of these functions
