ASUPRA DEPLASARILOR NEMOTORIZATE IN MARILE AGLOMERARI URBANE

Rezumat: Lucrarea analizeaza capacitatea deplasarilor nemotorizate de a se incadra in exigentele mobilitatii durabile in aglomerarile urbane prin reducerea congestiei. Sunt studiate infrastructurile destinate bicicletelor caracterizate prin prisma fluxurilor continue, discontinue si combinate. Pentru acestea sunt identificate nivelurile de servire si respectiv capacitatea benzilor dedicate bicicletelor pe arterele rutiere. Sunt analizate comparativ benzile dedicate bicicletelor din afara carosabilului (trotuar) cu cele amplasate pe carosabil rezultand o mai buna utilizare a spatiului pentru cele din urma.

Abstract: The paper tries to analyze the non-motorized transport capacity of reaching the sustainable mobility exigencies by reducing the congestion. The bicycle infrastructures characterized by continuous, discontinuous and combined flows are studied. Therefore the level of service and the capacity of bicycle lanes are determined. The offstreet bicycle paths and the bicycle lanes on streets are analyzed. The last ones lead to a better utilization of space.
