ASPECTE PRIVIND DURATA DE VIATA A UNEI INFRASTRUCTURI IN CONDITIILE MODIFICARII IN TIMP A STANDARDELOR DE PERFORMANTA

Rezumat: O caracteristica definitorie a unei infrastructuri de transport este durata lunga de viata. Desi unele facilitati se degradeaza intr-un ritm mai alert, marea majoritate a infrastructurilor rezista timp de mai multe decenii si uneori chiar secole. Durata de viata a unei infrastructuri, mai precis durata ei de serviciu, difera, de cele mai multe ori, de viata fizica adica durata reala pana la care o componenta sau un subsistem al infrastructurii se degradeaza pana la esec, perioada de timp dupa care o infrastructura nu mai poate asigura desfasurarea activitatilor pentru care a fost creata, datorita deteriorarii fizice in evolutie, care o fac inutilizabila. Sfarsitul vietii fizice vine atunci cand parti expuse variatiilor atmosferice trebuie inlocuite, echipamentele mecanice se strica, partile metalice corodeaza; nu depinde de nivelul cererii, factori economici sau inovatii tehnologice si nici de deprecierea morala a infrastructurii care deriva din cresterea asteptarilor asupra nivelului de performanta. Daca durata de serviciu a unei infrastructuri difera, asa cum am mai spus, de viata ei fizica, in schimb asteptarile asupra duratei vietii fizice sunt cele care determina durata de serviciu proiectata.

Abstract: A defining characteristic of transport infrastructure is long life. Although some facilities degrade a faster rate, most of the infrastructure lasts for decades and sometimes centuries. The life of an infrastructure,specifically its length of service varies, most times, from the physical life that is real time by which a component or a subsystem of infrastructure degrades to failure, time after which a infrastructure can not provide activities for which it was created because of physical damage in evolution, that are unusable. The end of physical life comes when exposed parts to atmospheric variations must be replaced, mechanical equipment breaks down, metal parts corrode, does not depend on demand, economic or technological factors or moral depreciation of infrastructure arising from increased expectations on the level of performance. If an infrastructure service life varies, as we said, of its physical life, in return expectations on the duration of physical life are the ones that determine the projected service life
