WIND DATA ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING FOR OPTIMAL DECISIONS IN WIND FARMS PROJECTS DEVELOPEMENT

Rezumat: In faza de proiectare si dezvoltare a fermelor eoliene o etapa foarte importanta, cu efecte majore atat din punct de vedere tehnic cat si economic, este cea a estimarii preliminare a potentialului eolian disponibil si a identificarii caracteristicilor amplasamentului cu privire la regimurile de variatie a vitezei vantului. Analiza detaliata a valorilor vitezei vantului cu ajutorul metodelor statistice reprezinta o solutie eficienta pentru determinarea parametrilor specifici amplasmentului si implicit posibilitatea luarii unor decizii optime privind functionarea in regim integrat a turbinelor eoliene. Cu ajutorul unui algoritm matematic elaborat si implementat se analizeaza modul in care un anumit tip de turbina eoliana functioneaza optim sau nu in regimurile de variatie a vitezei vantului specifice amplasamentului ales.

Abstract: In the design and development stage of wind farms a very important step, with major effects both technically and economically, is the estimation of available wind potential and the identification of the site profile related to the wind speed variation regimes. Detailed analysis of wind speed values using statistical methods is an effective solution to determine the specific parameters of the site and the possibility of taking optimal decisions on the operation of wind turbines in integrated system. Using a mathematical algorithm developed and implemented it is analyze how a particular type of wind turbine is operating optimum or not in specific wind speed variation regimes of chosen location.
