ROLUL ANALIZEI DEFECTARILOR IN DEZVOLTAREA, FABRICAREA SI UTILIZAREA UNUI PRODUS

Rezumat: Analiza defectarilor (AD) este metoda stiintifica de a gasi cauza ce face ca un produs sa nu-si mai indeplineasca, in timpul functionarii sale, functia pentru care a fost creat, adica sa se defecteze. Initial, AD a fost dezvoltata ca o metoda auxiliara a cercetarii de fiabilitate, fiind folosita pentru identificarea mecanismelor de defectare. In lucrare sunt prezentate pe larg metodele de lucru care implica AD inca de la faza de proiect, dar si in continuare, la fazele de model experimental si prototip, dupa incercarile de fiabiliate si apoi pe parcursul fabricatiei si al functionarii in aplicatii. Sunt detaliate concepte moderne, precum: proiectare pentru fiabilitate, prototip virtual, incercare accelerata de fiabilitate. Este vorba despre o noua abordare a problemelor de fiabilitate, bazata pe principiile ingineriei convergente, care spun ca toti cei implicati in elaborarea unui produs fiabil (proiectanti, ingineri de testare, fiabilisti, chiar specialisti in marketing) trebuie sa participe inca de la faza de proiect si apoi pe intregul parcurs al dezvoltarii, fabricarii si utilizarii produsului.

Abstract: Failure analysis (FA) is the scientific method for identifying the cause that does not allow to a product to fulfil, during operation, the required function; in other words, making the device to fail. Initially, FA was developed as an auxiliary method of reliability research, being used for identifying the failure mechanisms. In the paper, the working methods involving FA even from the design phase, but also at the subsequent phases (experimental model, prototype, after reliability tests, during and after fabrication, during operational life) are presented. Modern concepts are detailed, such as design for reliability, virtual prototyping, accelerated reliability tests. This is a new approach in relibaility issues, based on the principles of concurrent engineering, saying that all the specialists concurring to the fabrication of a reliable product (designers, testing engineers, reliaiblity engineers, marketing specialists) have to participate even from the deisgn phase, and also during the whole cycle of product development.
